Diego Cibelli’s porcelain totems, Tempo Rizomatico, exhibited in Turin in the ballroom of the historic location, Principi di Piemonte. Both monumental and delicate, these sculptures elicit fantasy through a visual vocabulary of glorification, wealth, nature, all imbedded in a sea of art historical references. The central idea is that of a party, where the visitor finds oneself as a special guest at a late eighteenth-century celebration in the large hall of the historic building, where the totemic obelisks recall court games on one side and fireworks on the other.
